The Adventures of Mill and Marg

Once upon a time the sky and earth were in love, bending to kiss along the horizon line. Brilliant life shining in every corner of existence. But not anymore. Only darkness after the wind stole all good things away.

Two best friends set off on an adventure to face the wind and save the world… no matter the cost.

Barbara is Drowning

A magical and absurd examination of the wife of a prominent executive accused of sexual misconduct. Barbara struggles to move forward as she confronts the stories of the women her husband has harmed. A story about guilt, self-preservation, and impossible decisions.

Developed as part of the Young Creators Unit at Playwrights Workshop Montreal, Dramaturg Jesse Stong and Artistic Director Emma Tibaldo.

Ghost / Darkness

Two one act plays.  Tales with origins in the history of the two lions of Tsavo. Nothing to do with lions and yet everything to do with creatures who bite.

Selected for the 2016 Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre Spring Festival of New Plays. Nina Lee Aquino (festival dramaturg) and Chelsea Haberlin (workshop director).

Further development in 2017 at Factory Theatre under the guidance of Artistic Director Nina Lee Aquino. This project was made possible with support from Creative Saskatchewan's Business Capacity Grant Program.

The Mountain’s Last Song

The last performance by folk singing sisters Hettie and Ada Jones. Before the end of the show can they once and for all figure out who’s to blame for the disaster that changed their lives? An allegory for blame in the modern world.

Workshopped with director Emma Tibaldo and festival dramaturge Vern Thiessen at the Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre Spring Festival of New Plays.

Music is co-written with Geoffrey Smith of the band Gunner and Smith. Funding for this collaboration was made possible by support from the Saskatchewan Arts Board.

Calls From the Edge of the World

The liminal space between home and catastrophe.

A holding zone where disaster economics and human lives collide. Three women prepare to return home after the unimaginable… whether home still exists is yet unknown.
